for herring having 30 some fights u'd think he would learn the full guard or half guard or any kind of guard other than what herring likes to do. crouch in a fetal position on his knees and wait the fight out. he did the same thing against Fedor. herring likes to cover up and take his beating like a man i guess.

But i have to give it to brock he looked fking unstoppable in that 1st round, dont know what happened in rnds 2 and 3 but whatever still looked quick and powerfull, needs to learn to finish his fights but other than that a great win for brock, and he looked good.

also this prolly should be another post but I really liked the showmanship of brock lesnar, he talked to the crowd after the fight and bla bla bla u know what i mean, he definnetly knows how to work the addience. WWE isnt big from the matches people lmao...thats basically what MMA is missing is a great showman like boxing has had with its many o' fighters.

thats what we need, MMA needs a fighter like Fedor alla anderson silva with the mouth to talk it up like that of The Rock from WWE. if we can get that combo then yes MMA could grow into a freakin monster overnight!!!

I think Brock's right hand knocked Herring silly and he was unable to recover. Also, Brock pushed the pace the entire fight and didn't slow down.

We do not need MMA to turn into the "pro wrestling." We have that in the WWE. Keep the antics there and lets keep the fighting in here. Unless you like what EliteXC is bringing to MMA...

I think the sport is turning into a monster already...without the antics. The humble attitudes of most of the fighters gives MMA some real class that we don't see in other sports. GSP and Fitch bowing to each other and displaying such respect for each others skill is admireable to behold, and a stark contrast to Lesner pointing at Herring and laughing like a spoiled child.

1st off I hate eliteXC and what its trying to accomplish, my idea and elitexc are completely diferent in the fact that i say UFC could do it with good fighters and good showmans, elite xc is trying to do it with the opposite, horrible fighters with basically no fighting skills and lets face it Kimbo is no Ali when it comes to talking .

thats y i said fedor silva ish with the mic skillz of The Rock, i didnt say butterbean/thompson with the personality of john mccain.

It's still trying to bring two sports together that need to remain apart. I am sorry, I do not want to be watching MMA with the theme of the WWE.

WWE style are BAD for MMA, MMA needs to be a respected sport because it brand by some as Brutal,Human Cockfighting etc and WWE antics wont do good
